Black Fact is a short, simple and fractured Comic Book Poem. The text does not follow a succinct structure. It is structured like a conversation, where one person takes over most of the dialogue. The story revolves around a job seeker who doesn’t want the job he has been offered and has found himself in company he does not want to keep.
The first page shows the conversation and the second page gives us a reveal. This reveal adds to the dark comedy and fractured structure of Black Fact.
Black Fact
So why do you want the job?
Well just now I have no response.
See we crave someone hard.
Someone who won’t run scared at the slightest disturbance.
Does it really have to be this way.
I mean I tried so hard and I’ve done so many things.
And I’m still here.
With you. Out here.
I don’t want to be here.
I just wanted something safe.
Except I got you.
