Tonight was written for Adventures in Comic, an art collective based in Madestone in Kent, England. Each year they have a brief for comic book creators to follow. The brief for 2014 was to create a 2 page comic book with the theme if The Orb. The result is a short exhibition at the Marine Studios in Maidstone and a printed anthology of the comic books.

My entry for Adventure in Comics 2014 was Tonight. It is a basic story of a character who longs for an object (in this case a scared Orb). After the character obtains The Orb the turn insane.
The poetry centres on the concept of longing after something and how it can distort your mind and consume you. The text for a Tonight is below.
Tonight
It calls me tonight.
Hold it? Not enough.
I want to feel it inside me.
All shades of colour, which holds my tongue.
My eyes are far too weak
So now it’s fingers and thumbs
