Another short and sweet Comic Book Poem. It will be obvious in the Comic Book Poem itself that the words and images were developed in tandem. I wanted to develop a comic book poem that was abstract in nature and developed on a single page.
The title reflects the speech bubble that relates to the character. The character speaks and then the speech bubble actually says more about the words which are spoken. For this I was influenced by Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series, where the Sandman character had a black speech balloon and white text.
I feel that the text for this Comic Book Poem cannot be read by itself. The Comic Book Poem is only two panels and we deal with spoken word and consequence. The text is written below along with another opportunity to view the Comic a Book Poem.

Just talking.
And no one is Listening.
And no one is Listening.
And no one is Listening.
And no one is Listening.
And no one is Listening.
